By using the Tuition and fees deduction (line 34 of 1040) I can deduct $4000 while the Eduction credit (line 50 of 1040) would, under the best circumstances, only allow a maximum deduction of $2000. Obviously I would choose the tuition and fees.........(with 2 answers.)]]></description>
